Perry Township Public Hearing

The Perry Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at the Perry

Township Administrative Offices, 3740 Center Road, on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at

6:00 p.m. to hear the following Appeal:

Appeal 02-23C: Filed by Nick Carmigiano/Hugh Gold (Grand Finale Fireworks, LLC),

pertaining to property located on Niagara Avenue, Permanent Parcel Number 03-A-014-

A-00-005-0. This property is located in the Heavy Industry (1-3) Zoning District. The

applicant is requesting a determination that its proposed use of a Fireworks Storage

Facility/retail sales is a similar use to the uses that are permitted in the Heavy Industry (1-

3) Zoning District (Table 302.02 in Perry Township Zoning Resolution). In order to

obtain this similar use designation, the applicant is requesting a conditional use from the

Board of Zoning Appeals. The standards for granting a conditional use are set forth in

Section 500.09 Specific Standards for Conditionally Permitted Uses. The applicant is

requesting to construct a Fireworks Storage Facility/retail sales on site.
