ROAD CLOSURES AT CSX RAILROAD CROSSINGS

 

Our office was just notified that weather permitting, CSX Railroad will be closing the following crossings between Saturday, July 1st and Monday, July 3rd.  The closures can last anywhere between one (1) and three (3) days.  A set schedule is not available.  It will be dependent upon the progress that their tie gang makes.  Maple should not be closed until Lane and Park are open so it is possible that this closure will be delayed.

 

CSX is working through this weekend and Monday, July 3rd.  They will have all roads open by end of day on Monday, July 3rd.  They will then be off for the next six days; returning to the area on Monday, July 10th to continue working to the east.

 

Park Road between Hale Road and Welch Road in Painesville Township.

Suggested alternate route:

Madison Avenue, Bowhall Road, US 20 and Hale Road

 

Lane Road between Timber Ridge Trail and Shepard Road in Perry Township

Suggested alternate route:

Hale Road, US 20, Bowhall Road and SR 84

 

Maple Street between Honeysuckle Lane and Depot Street in Perry Village

Suggested alternate route:

Depot Street to Main Street

The railroad crossing will be closed to all traffic.
Detour signs will be posted by the CSX Contractor.
As always, drivers are reminded to be respectful of the closure and not move or drive around barricades while the road is closed.
