Blair Road Closure - July 14

BLAIR ROAD CLOSURE IN PERRY TOWNSHIP

Lake County Engineer, Alan L. Exley, PE, PS announced today that the Blair Road Retaining Wall Replacement project is set to begin on Monday July 14, 2025 requiring all traffic to follow the posted detour.

The section of wall to be replaced is located approximately 0.5 mile south of River Road and just west of Blair Landing Park.

Weather permitting, Blair Road will be closed July 14th for construction of the new wall requiring all traffic to follow the posted detour.

POSTED DETOUR – River Rd. to Adams Rd. to South Ridge Rd. (SR 84) to Vrooman Rd. to Carter Rd.

The project was awarded to Alan Stone Co. of Vincent, Ohio

The work covered by the plans and specifications includes; replacement of approximately 400 ft. of retaining wall and replacement of adjacent pavement, guardrail, and drainage.

The projected completion date for this project is October 17, 2025.
