FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
BLAIR ROAD CLOSURE IN PERRY TOWNSHIP
Lake County Engineer, Alan L. Exley, PE, PS announced today that the Blair Road Retaining Wall Replacement project has been delayed and will extend beyond the planned completion date due to a differing site condition.
The section of wall being replaced is located approximately 0.5 mile south of River Road and just west of Blair Landing Park.
Blair Road will remain closed during the winter months until weather sensitive items can be completed in Spring of 2026 requiring all traffic to continue to follow the posted detour.
POSTED DETOUR – River Rd. to Adams Rd. to South Ridge Rd. (SR 84) to Vrooman Rd. to Carter Rd.
The project was awarded to Alan Stone Co. of Vincent, Ohio
The work covered by the plans and specifications includes; replacement of approximately 400 ft. of retaining wall and replacement of adjacent pavement, guardrail, and drainage.
The projected completion date for this project is October 17, 2025.
